This movie sucked. The ending was so dry to me smh. I liked the movie but once the deal went bad at the end, the movie went down hill. Code 8 is a mix of Blade Runner (for the music style and the image texture and color) and X-Men for the scenario. It's a very good movie.
It's a little bit like if the director and the producers said « ok teenagers have the X-Men saga, let's do something around the same idea but for adults ».
The are no jaw dropping special effects, mutants (called "person with abilities" in the movie) dont do funky stuff... every body acts great... it's the kind of sci-fi movie that will very likely go unnoticed and it's a shame, it deserves much much more. Guy flames a cop and runs for it. Robopolice: Superhero landing time.

Michael bay movie: the car will explode and then that explosion will explode and the explosion that exploded will explode. Who just finished season 7 and I so sad. I really love Stephen. I hope the best for him and hope he has made the right decision. Good luck man. I just saw this on movie was the ending could have been better or more exciting to set up a sequel. Stephen Amell and the other guy were a great duo.
